Composite Fiber Helmet Reviews
Composite-shelled crash helmets use a variety of different materials in their construction – typically a mix of fiberglass, aramid (Kevlar) and sometimes carbon fiber. The idea is you get the best of all worlds, strength, durability and abrasion resistance. They’re often pretty light too (though not as light as pure carbon fiber helmets) and sit towards the top end of most manufacturer’s price lists.
