Simpson Performance Products are headquartered in Texas, USA, and were born out of a desire to produce high performance racing gear, primarily for the drag racing and Nascar scenes. In 1979 they released their first helmet – the RX-1 – and have since gone on to produce well-rated helmets across motorsports – and for riders as well as drivers all over the world.
